Efficacy of Avian Influenza vaccines, H5 subtype
Nobilis Influenza H5, origin Mexico and Nobilis H5N2, origin Spain, were tested in a challenge experiment.
The results were excellent. Less than 50% of the vaccinated birds excreted challenge avian influenza virus. From the remaining birds, excretion of the virus was about 100.000 times less than in the non-vaccinated control birds.
See Efficacy trial, Nobilis Influenza H5 and Nobilis H5N2 for more information.
Vaccination of Ducks with Nobilis H5
Trials have shown that that Nobilis Influenza H5 has the potency to induce a significant antibody response in ducks to the H5 subtype of Avian Influenza. See Nobilis H5 Vaccine in Ducks.
