Intervet was founded in 1969 and has developed into a modern animal health company with a strong focus on the market and its customer.
The origin of Intervet is rooted in research. In the fifties a progressive feed manufacturer in Boxmeer, Wim Hendrix , founded the company Nobilis with the purpose of developing vaccines against poultry diseases.

Having begun as a poultry vaccine company, these products still represent a core focus for Intervet. Intervet now produces products ranging from vaccines for pets to feed additives for production animals.

Today Intervet is the result of both acquisitions and a process of continuous adaptation focused on the needs of tomorrow. The head office and International headquarters are located in Boxmeer, The Netherlands. A global distribution network of subsidiary companies and agents are present in 120 countries. Intervet employs almost 5000 people worldwide.
